Optii is seeking a Marketing Intern  to help develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels.. The role requires an individual who is a self-starter, collaborative and results-oriented to support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives for Optii and with Optii partners. With a small team, this new team member will have a lot of autonomy but still work closely with the marketing team to assist in the execution of strategies, campaigns and projects.



THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  1. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital, social media, email, and print.
  2. Manage the weekly Marketing calendar
  3. Assist in database marketing initiatives, such as data organization, segmentation, and ensuring accuracy.
  4. Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g. product and sales) to assist in the development and monitoring of marketing initiatives
  5. Help manage and review engaging and compelling content for various pieces of marketing collateral and channels.
  6. Support the management and maintenance of social media platforms including content scheduling, monitoring, and engagement.
  7. Help develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met
  8. Assist in organizing and coordinating marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
  9. Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools, providing recommendations for optimization.
  10. Stay updated on marketing industry trends, competitors, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team.



Requirements:

  1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  2. Strong passion for marketing and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create compelling and concise content.
  4. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, Hubspot (not required but preferred), and email automation.
  5. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a deadline-driven environment.
  6. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
