Optii celebrates launches automatic inline translation for its Service and Chat modules, empowering multilingual teams.
Austin, Texas: Optii Solutions, the leading hotel operations software, today announced that it has launched automatic inline translation for Optii Service & Chat.
The company launched the new feature to support multilingual teams and leaders in the hospitality industry where teams are often diverse with several different languages often spoken within the same team. For teams that are often dispersed across large properties and time is of the essence, these teams have traditionally communicated via radios or in person. The new feature drastically reduces miscommunication and makes the communication faster and more efficient.
The new feature allows teams to communicate in their language of choice in one-to-one and one-to-many communication, with the possibility to communicate in multiple languages within a team. The feature will increase accuracy and clarity of communication and improve the execution and timeliness of tasks within an operation. Additionally, the feature during testing has shown to lead to improved employee satisfaction, and can potentially increase the workforce pool for hotels that have previously mandated certain languages for employment.
The feature has recently been released and is available to all users subscribing to Optii Chat, and additional functionality will soon follow to allow notifications and other content in Optii Service to be translated into a user’s preferred language.
