With this release, team members can start, pause, and complete jobs without an active internet connection. Everything syncs automatically once they're back online, with accurate timestamps so your reporting reflects when work actually happened. No lost work, no delays, no workarounds! 

Breaks and Visibility Into Who's Available

It sounds simple, but knowing who's on break and who's available is one of those things that creates quiet confusion all shift long. Team members can now log breaks directly in Optii, and supervisors get a clear, real-time view of who's on break and for how long. It's a small change that makes a real difference in how smoothly a shift runs.

Permanent Notes: Say It Once, See It Every Time

Every property has rooms or locations with specific instructions that every team member needs to know. Instead of hoping that information gets passed along, you can now attach a Permanent Note to any location and it will automatically appear on every associated job — housekeeping, service, and beyond. Update it once and it updates everywhere. It keeps critical information visible without adding to anyone's workload.

More Control Over Out of Order Rooms

Not every blocked room has the same needs, and now your scheduling can reflect that. Admins can configure exactly what housekeeping jobs are created for Out of Order and Out of Service rooms, right down to the specific reason a room was blocked. A room under renovation and a room on a short maintenance hold can now be handled completely differently — automatically, without manual workarounds.

A More Reliable Turndown Service

A great Turndown service starts long before the team hits the floor, and that's exactly where this update begins. This release ensures Turndown jobs are created for every eligible room, including late bookings and same-day arrivals, and that those jobs aren't accidentally cancelled by a room status change. Your evening team arrives to a complete, accurate list every time.

Smarter Automation Throughout

A few other notable improvements: Optii now prevents duplicate jobs from being created when a reservation is extended. If your property management system and Optii ever fall out of sync on a room's clean status, a verification job is created automatically before the room reaches a guest. And Service jobs are now visible alongside Housekeeping in the My Jobs view, so team members who handle both have one place to see everything assigned to them.
